I am an author and illustrator, with nine published books to date. I also have two completed, unpublished projects (a children’s book about environmentalism, and a YA graphic novel about neurodiversity). I am actively seeking representation and a publisher for both. Click on the covers for more information.
The Monkey Prince: An Environmental Journey is an illustrated children’s book in Seussian rhyme crafted to teach children about environmentalism through engaging analogies. The story follows the journey of young Bodhi, the Monkey Prince, as he discovers the truth about his kingdom and struggles to set things right before catastrophe strikes.
The Monkey Prince is unpublished and seeking a publisher focused on engaging stories that impart values and imbue children with the tools to grow into good citizens.
Wired Different is a MG/YA graphic novel about neurodiverse students and the struggles they face in school. Set in a post-human world, the story follows four unlikely friends that inadvertently create a club for the neurodiversity community. The story deals with stigma, isolation, advocacy, grief, and redemption. But more than that, it seeks to faithfully represent the 15–20% of the population that is neurodiverse. Through the metaphor of a robot society, the book tackles real issues with characters that are all too human in their problems.
Wired Different is unpublished and seeking a publisher focused on social issues and underrepresented communities.
I’m Still A Person is a published graphic novel about the stigma of substance abuse disorder. The book was commissioned by Face Addiction Now (formerly Families Against Narcotics) to teach teenagers how to help those dealing with addiction and how to fight the stigma of substance abuse disorder. The story was inspired by real life events and follows the interconnecting lives of students, parents, and teachers, all dealing with their own addictions.
The book is available on Amazon, or through the site stillaperson.com and comes with a companion workbook for integrating into student curriculums.

The STEM Files are an 8 book series of graphic novels designed for middle grade “Hi-Low” readers (higher grade, but lower reading comprehension). Published by Torch Graphic Press, an imprint of Cherry Lake Publishing, each book teaches kids about a different STEM field through a unique narrative. Each story consists of a different wanna-be evil villain who is foiled, not by some superhero, but by their lack of knowledge in STEM.
The books are available on Amazon or through Cherry Lake Publishing Group.
